Herzets to celebrate 50th anniversary

James and Janet Herzet will celebrate their 50th anniversary March 3.

They were married in Emporia at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. A reception followed at First United Methodist Church in Emporia.

Jim and Janet have lived their married life in Marion.

The couple will celebrate with their children Jenny and Jon Burright, Calvin Montgomery, Corban Montgomery and Kyndal Christensen, Jared and Sara Herzet, Matthew and Ivy Herzet, and Jackie and Bob Guilfoyle.

Special guests will include Greg and Shaunna Fillmore; Sheldon, Rydon and Kaylon Thatcher; and Jaxon Fillmore.
