Jenny Gottstein and Quinton Hett

Hett-Gottstein engagement announced

Don and Dawn Hett of Marion announce the engagement of their son, Quinton Hett, to Jenny Gottstein of Lawrence.

Steve and Terri Gottstein of Lawrence are her parents.

The bride-to-be graduated from Emporia State University in May 2018 with degrees in elementary education and Spanish. She taught in Kansas City and now is a substitute teacher in Lawrence.

The groom-elect graduated from Marion High School in 2015 and has an earth science degree from Emporia State University. He is employed as a geology specialist at Kansas Department of Health and Environment in Topeka.

The couple is planning an outdoor wedding on a farm south of Marion on Oct. 26.
