April 24: A motorist received assistance in the 500 block of East D Street. A dog complaint was filed in the 300 block of South Ash Street. Suspicious activity was checked in Memorial Park.

April 25: An industrial accident was reported at Hillsboro Heights. Damage was reported in the 200 block of South Main Street. A motorist received assistance at U.S. 56 and Ash Street. A dog complaint was checked at the city shops. Wichita police received assistance with a complaint. A child custody dispute was reported in the 400 block of South Birch Street. An officer instructed a D.A.R.E. class at Hillsboro Elementary School.

April 26: A traffic complaint was checked on East D. Street. Bicycles were registered at the police office. Officers attended municipal court. A sheriff’s deputy received assistance with a reckless driving complaint on U.S. 56. A motorist was assisted at U.S. 56 and Ash Street. An out-of-control juvenile was reported in the 500 block of South Adams Street and was transported to juvenile intake in Junction City.

April 27: A domestic disturbance in the 200 block of North Ash Street was found to be a verbal confrontation between a male and female. An officer instructed a D.A.R.E. class at the elementary school. A harassment complaint was reported in the 100 block of South Birch Street. A harassment complaint was reported in the 300 block of North Birch Street, when juveniles were reported throwing rocks.

Thursday: An individual was fingerprinted for employment purposes. Domestic violence was reported in the 200 block of North Ash Street. Identity theft was reported in the 700 block of West A Street, when someone used the victim’s name to order goods. A dog complaint in the 400 block of South Washington Street was checked. An individual who had outstanding warrants was arrested in the 200 block of South Main Street. A dog complaint in the 400 block of South Cedar Street was checked.

Friday: Suspicious activity was checked in the 100 block of North Main Street. Wichita and Newton probation officers received assistance with investigations. A sheriff’s deputy was assisted with a civil process. Officers assisted with a rescue operation at Marion Reservoir. City council packets were delivered.

Saturday: A local business received assistance with testing alarms. A dog complaint was checked in the 300 block of North Birch Street. A sheriff’s deputy received assistance with a driving-under-the-influence complaint. An activated commercial alarm was reported in the 800 block of East D Street. A sheriff’s deputy received assistance with a domestic disturbance in Lehigh.
