Plett granddaughter to wed in August

Pamela and Richard Idleman of El Dorado announce the engagement of their daughter, Sydney Rachelle Idleman, to Forrest Lee Evans, son of Julie and Kirt Evans of El Dorado.

The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Jerry and Rowena Plett of Lincolnville and Dannie and Carol Idleman of Herington.

She is a 2010 graduate of Flint Hills High School in Rosalia. She graduated from Butler Community College in 2012 with an associates in liberal arts. She is a manager for ISERVE Professional Cleaning, El Dorado.

The prospective groom graduated from El Dorado High School in 2011. After completing a one-year lineman course at Pratt Community College, he is employed with Butler Rural Electric as a power-line apprentice.

An August 3 wedding is planned. The couple will live in El Dorado.
