Reunion deadline nears

Florence’s 125th high school alumni reunion, reputedly the state’s oldest continuing such event, is planned for May 28.

Alumni of Florence and Marion-Florence schools along with their guests, teachers, and former classmates are being invited to attend.

The day will begin with a business meeting at noon in the Florence gymnasium followed by a banquet at 1 p.m.

Reservations at $20 per person are being accepted through Friday by mail to Florence Alumni Association, 6240 W 155th St, Overland Park KS 66223.
