Bobbie Jo Linder
Services for Bobbie Jo Linder, 59, Marion, who passed away March 5 at her home, will be 2 p.m. April 10 at the Marion VFW Post no. 6958.
Bobbie’s life began April 11, 1961, in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. She was the daughter of Robert Linder and Josephine (Avery) Bennett.
Bobbie attended beauty school after high school graduation but found her true calling in being a caregiver. She worked in several area nursing homes and assisted living centers, generally as the cook.
Bobbie loved to take care of people and she loved to cook. Her green chili was amazing. Bobbie enjoyed gardening, fishing at the lake, camping, and most importantly, her grandchildren. Bobbie genuinely enjoyed homemaking and caring for her family and friends.
Her loving family includes her daughter Katlynn (and husband, Clinton Schwartz) Shaft of Kingman; her longtime companion David Leith of Marion; Dave’s children Joseph Leith, Jessica Leith, and Shasta McCall; brother Joel Linder of Moundridge; and grandchildren Jarrod, A.J., Bella, Bryce, and Ryan.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Her celebration of life will be led by Pastor Carl Helm. Yazel-Megli Funeral Home, Marion, is serving the family.
