Donna Harper

Services will be in June for Donna Kay Harper, 72, Topeka, who went home to be with Lord on Thursday, April 29, 2021.

Donna was born Sept. 24, 1948, in Hillsboro, the daughter of Ed and Alvina Beisel Bartel.

She married Paul Harper in 1968; they later amicably divorced in 1998.

Donna previously worked for the district attorney as a secretary in Midland, Texas, and the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

Donna is survived by her daughter, Crystal Salisbury. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and many loving friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters Delores Kerbs, Mary Crawford, and JoAnn Flaming, brothers Bud Bartel and infant brother Bobby Bartel; and son-in-law, Chris Salisbury.

Donna loved gardening, road trips, crafting, farmers markets, and being with friends and family. A special thanks for all the loving care she received at Tanglewood Nursing and Rehabilitation.
