EXPANDED EULOGIES

James Richmond

Celebration of Life for James Lee Richmond, 85, who passed away Monday, Aug. 23, 2021, at St. Luke Living Center in Marion, will be 11 a.m. Friday, August 27, 2021, at Eastmoor United Methodist Church

Pastor Darren Frazier will officiate. Committal service will be 10 a.m. at Marion Cemetery.

Born Oct. 9, 1935, in Antelope to Clyde and Henrietta (Conyers) Richmond, James married Violet Frances Franta on Feb. 20, 1960, in Pilsen. She and his parents preceded him in death.

Survivors include son Rick Richmond of Austin, Texas; daughter Jamie Shirley (and husband Bill) of Marion; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Brothers Ralph and Jack Richmond and sister Evelyn Bredemeier also preceded him in death.
