Jason Hinton

Private services have been conducted for Jason Wade Hinton, 44, of Florence, who passed away April 16, 2022, and is now with his Lord and Savior.

He was born Friday, March 13, 1978, to Eugene Elsworth Hinton Jr of Wichita and Dorothy Engel (Reed) of Florence.

From a young age, Jason was a blessing in our lives, teaching us to laugh, relax, and, of course, how to fish!

One memory in particular was being Santa Claus every year at Christmas time. Those memories we will hold dear until we see him again.

Jason was a mechanic, fixer of all, an amazing dad, a wonderful husband, and a provider with love. Jason also held the key to his momma’s heart.

Jason is survived by wife Elaine, son Elijah Hinton of Florence, parents, brother Brian Hinton and sister Tammy Hinton of Florence, nephews Daniel and Ethan Hinton and niece Madison Hinton.
