You also could find Linda hauling wheat during harvest or on a Heartland travel trip to destinations around the country.

She loved sports. She enjoyed coaching and playing softball. She and Dan spent countless hours and miles traveling to many places including Brookville, Eudora, El Dorado, Iowa, Kentucky, and even Hawaii, to watch their grandchildren’s competitions and activities.

Survivors include husband Dan of the home, daughter Susie (and husband Tom) Omli of Salina, son Jeff Peterson of Lawrence: grandchildren Tate (and wife Kristin) Omli, Toby (and wife Lindsey) Omli, Sesely Omli, Sydney (and husband Nick) Shiew, Daniel, Clara, and Isaac Peterson, siblings Sandra (and husband Steve), Carla (and wife Stacey) Collett, Glenda (and husband Mike) Jirak, Gary (and wife Karol) Fike, Dennis (and wife LouAnn) Fike, and Sara (and husband Scott) Davis, and numerous nieces and nephews.
