Mary Beeman

Graveside services for Mary Valentine Beeman, 95, who passed away Sept. 28, 2025, at Homestead Assisted Living of El Dorado, will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 18, at Prairie Lawn Cemetery, Peabody.

Born Feb. 14, 1930, in Cherryvale, she graduated from Cherryvale High School and on Sept. 25, 1953, married John Beeman. They shared 41 years of marriage before he died Dec. 31. 1994.

Mary was a dedicated certified medical assistant for more than 30 years at a Peabody nursing home before retiring at 72 years of age.

She enjoyed gardening, shopping, and going out to eat. Her favorite restaurant was Acapulco, where she and John sold produce out of their large garden.

They had three sons, Jonathan, Steven, and Nathan, who died in infancy.

Mary is survived by son Jonathan and wife Jacki; son Steven and wife Paige; three grandchildren, Heath, Skye, and Shea; and one great-grandchild, Gaven.
