IN MEMORIAM
EXPANDED EULOGIES
Thomas Druse
Graveside and celebration of life services for Thomas Ray Druse, 60, who joined his Lord and Savior on Jan. 8, 2022, will be 3 p.m. Feb. 5 at Marion Cemetery. Pastor Martin Hollar will preside.
Born Dec. 30, 1961, in Marion, Thomas was raised in a military family that lived overseas and in many states. The family moved from Texas to Enid, Oklahoma, in 1978. Enid is where he established roots, started his own family, and spent the rest of his life.
Thomas was a lover of the outdoors and music. Going to concerts was his passion since the age of 15. He also was a huge Kansas City Chiefs fan and enjoyed all sports.
His work varied, but he made a career being self-employed as an independent insurance agent.
Thomas had a big heart with lots of love for a huge extended family and friends. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with and loved his 12 grandchildren and his girlfriend, Dawn Booth.
Thomas is survived by his father, Thomas L. Druse, and brother, Richard L. Druse, both of Enid. He is also survived by his three children with Darla Druse of Enid: Matthew R. Druse (and wife Tara) of Piedmont, Oklahoma; Robin N. Druse (and fiancé William Huntwork) of Enid; and G.C. Trevor N. Druse of Enid. Thomas also helped raise his sister-in-law, Carmen Stromberg of Ohio, because of the tragic loss of his mother-in-law at a young age.
Thomas was preceded in death by his mother, Claudette Druse, and sister, Christy Druse, both of Enid.
Yazel Megli Funeral Home is serving the family. Please sign his online guestbook and leave a memory of Thomas at www.yazelmeglifh.com.
