An Alta Vista man was injured Tuesday when a pickup he was driving ran into the back of a truck at 260th Rd. and US-56/77.

According to Kansas Highway Patrol, a 2014 Freightliner driven southbound on US-56/77 by Edgar Jackson, 61, Parsons, was turning west onto 360th Rd.

King was taken to Herington Municipal Hospital.
