James Williams

James “Butch” Williams, 62, of Roseburg, Ore., died Jan. 3, 2009.

Born June 26, 1946, in Douglass, he was the son of James and Ruby (Rosenberry) Williams.

He formerly worked at a Florence rock quarry, moving to Oregon in 1972.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his wife, Angela; a son, Ernie of Coos Bay, Ore.; four daughters, Teresa and Jessica, both of Roseburg, and Karen and Sabrina, both of Portland, Ore.; a sister, Lois Hein of Richland, Wash.; and eight grandchildren.

Services were Jan. 10 at Taylor’s Family Chapel, Roseburg.

Burial was at Roseburg Memorial Gardens.
