Hillsboro resident Jay N. Kimberly, 64, district manager for Williams Natural Gas Co. of Hesston, died July 28 at Olathe Medical Center, Olathe.

Born Feb. 7, 1946, in Union, Miss., to Ernest and Bonnie (Gibson) Kimberly, he married Brenda Staats on Sept. 2, 1968, in Pratt.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Shawn of Wichita; a daughter, Angie Steinman of Belton, Mo.; and five grandchildren.

Services were at 10 a.m. Monday at Hillsboro United Methodist Church. The Rev. Charles Grant officiated. Burial was in Haviland Cemetery, Haviland.

A memorial fund has been established with the American Heart Association. Jost Funeral Home, Hillsboro, was in charge of arrangements.
