Jeffrey Jackson

Jeffrey Lee Jackson, 47, died April 24, 2016, at home in Atlanta, Georgia.

Jeff was born August 5, 1968, in Eureka, Kansas.

Jeff grew up in Marion, Kansas. He was married to Paula Young in 2001.

Jeff was the son of Vicki and David Jackson. When he was young, he loved racing motocross motorcycles. He and his Dad, his mechanic, went all over the state racing. At one time Jeff was second in the state in the 125 class. He won many trophies and awards.

Jeff and his wife worked together from their home. Jeff was an appraiser and insurance agent. For the last 10 years, Jeff owned his own appraisal company.

Jeff fought a long battle with pancreatic cancer. Before cancer, he and Paula went on many trips and cruises. They loved being together and working together.

Jeff is survived by his wife, two stepdaughters, and one granddaughter of Atlanta; his mother, Vicki Jackson of Marion; his aunt, Cheryl Ray of Marion; and cousins Robb Hartley and Vicki Williams of Marion.

He was preceded in death by his Dad, David Jackson, and his grandparents, Bob and Gertrude Ray of Marion.
