Jeremy Schlehuber

Mass for Jeremy Lane Schlehuber, 56, Hillsboro, who died June 18 at NMC Health, Newton, will be 10 a.m. Friday at St. Mark Catholic Church, Marion.

Father David Lies will officiate. Vespers and rosary will be 7 p.m. Thursday at the church. Burial with military honors will be at Marion Cemetery.

Born July 24, 1969, in Hillsboro to Charles “Richie” Schlehuber and Nancy Klenda Lalouette, he graduated in 1987 from Marion High School, joined the Army, and served in Operation Desert Storm until honorably discharged in 1991.

He worked at Lang Diesel / AGCO in Hillsboro and married Kelly Bodiford in November, 1996.

Survivors include son Jacob, mother Nancy Lalouette, stepfather Larry Lalouette, brother James Schlehuber, and sister Sherry Schlehuber. His father preceded him in death.

Memorials have been established with Marion VFW Post and Father Kapaun Legacy Fund.
