Jimmie Parrack

Services for former Marion resident Jimmie Dean Parrack, 88, who died July 11 in Richardson, Texas, were Monday.

He was born July 24, 1934. to Marion Ellsworth and Ethel Lucille (Little) Parrack in Covington, Oklahoma.

He studied at Southwestern Assemblies of God University in Waxahachie, Texas and married Maxine Carol Rose on Feb. 15, 1959. in Brookefield, Missouri.

He worked as a furniture manufacturer’s representative and in the 1960s lived along with his parents in Marion, where sons Joey and Todd Parrack were born.

Survivors include his wife of Richardson, Texas; son Todd Parrack of McKinney, Texas; sisters Jane Wright of Pierce City, Missouri, and Sue Sneller of Amarillo, Texas; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren

Son Joey Parrack and brother, Edgar Lee Parrack preceded him in death.

Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home of Allen, Texas, was in charge of arrangements.
