Mark and Lisa Johnson of Marion announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Brooke, to Justin Lenhardt, son of John and Becky Lenhardt of Phoenix, Ariz.

The bride-to-be is a 2010 graduate of Marion High School and a 2011 graduate of Regency Cosmetology School. She works at Skyline Coiffures in Tuscon, Ariz.

The groom-elect will graduate in May with a master’s degree in education for German and math from the University of Arizona. He works at Amphi High School in Tuscon.

Wayne and Gloria Handle of Baxter Springs and William and Joan Johnson of Wichita are grandparents of the bride-to-be. Marie Clark of Burns is her great-grandmother.

Joan Hadley of Phoenix, Franz and Lucy Lenhardt of Palm Springs, Calif., and Ana Lenhardt of Fort Collins, Colo., are grandparents of the groom-elect.

The couple plans to wed on Dec. 22 in Tuscon. A reception will be held on New Year’s Eve in Kansas.
