Nate and Elizabeth Meyer-Gleason of Livermore, Calif., announce the birth of their second daughter, Josephine Abigail, at 4:54 p.m. June 27 in Valleycare Medical Center, Pleasanton, Calif. She weighed 9 pounds 8.7 ounces and was 21 inches in length.

Josie has a 7-year-old brother, Henry Thomas, and a 4-year-old sister, Margaret Catherine.

Maternal grandmother is Nancy Fetter of Hilton Head, S.C.

Paternal grandparents are Jill Werner of Chicago and Eric Meyer of Champaign, Ill.

Ruth Willis of Salina and Joan Meyer of Marion are the children’s great-grandmothers.
