Nikki Davenport, chief court services officer in Dickinson County, has been promoted to district court administrator for the Eighth Judicial District, including Marion County.

She replaces Cecil Aska of Geary County, who retired in March.

Loyce Smith, previously a supervisor for court services, has been promoted to replace Davenport.

Michael Powers of Marion County is chief judge in the district, which serves Dickinson, Geary, Marion, and Morris Counties.

Amber Knapp continues as court services officer and Jan Helmer as district court clerk in Marion County.
