Kenneth Novak

Services for Kenneth R. Novak, 79, who passed away Aug. 8, 2026, at his residence in Tampa, will be Thursday, Aug. 13, 2026, at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Tampa.

Rosary will begin at 10 a.m., then Mass at 10:30 a.m. A fellowship meal will follow at Tampa Community Building. Private inurnment will be in Pilsen Cemetery.

He was born Feb. 24, 1947, in Hillsboro to Alvin and Irene (Medley) Novak and was a 1965 graduate of Tampa High School.

He attended what’s now Emporia State University, proudly served with the U.S. Army, and was a fertilizer dealer, farmer, and stockman.

He was preceded in death by his parents and daughter Rikki Novak Doll.

He is survived by his wife, Tudy Novak of Tampa; his son, Scott Novak (and Leann Southard) of Lawrence; his siblings, Judy Stika of Lincolnville and Kelly Novak (and wife Dianne) of Tampa; stepdaughters Wendy Youk (and husband Justin) of Marion, Amy Richmond (and husband Tim) of Marion; and Paige Brunner (and Jeff Mayfield) of Marion; and grandchildren Tyler Anderson, Tanner Anderson, Ava Novak, Cameron White, and Preston Schneider.

A memorial fund has been established with Tampa Emergency Medical Services in care of Jost Funeral Home, Hillsboro.
