Kim Brashear

No services are planned at this time for Kim Carl Brashear, 68, who lived in Peabody in recent years and died Dec. 23, 2024, at Ascension Via Christi St. Francis Hospital, Wichita.

Born May 22, 1956, in Newton to Lora L. and Robert C. Brashear, he grew up in Halstead.

Survivors include sister Terry Homewood; nephews Trinity Homewood (and wife Mandee); Tyler Homewood (and wife Katie and family); and Rickie Jay Brashear Jr. (and family); and niece Jessica Brashear Hawkins (and family).

His grandparents, parents, older brother Rick Jay Brashear, and nephew Trevor Homewood preceded him in death.
