Lorene Kleiber, 91, died Thursday at Parkside Homes.

Services were Monday at Strassburg Baptist Church. Pastor Don Mashburn officiated. Burial was in Lewis Cemetery, rural Ramona. Jost Funeral Home was in charge.

Born Oct. 20, 1922, to Henry and Esther (Gutsch) Miller at Tampa, she married Harold Kleiber on March 22, 1943, in Columbia, South Carolina, where he was serving in the Army. He died in 1997.

A son, Larry, died in 2006. An infant son, Steven, also preceded her in death.

Survivors include son Mike Kleiber of rural Hillsboro, daughter Jayne Boggs of McPherson, seven grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren.

Memorial funds have been established with the church, Parkside, and Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice.
