Lake chief

To the editor:

I would like to offer a suggestion about the next person who is hired for the lake superintendent position.

Maybe instead of hiring someone from the road and bridge department, it would make more sense to hire someone who has park ranger experience, even someone who has education and experience in park and recreation management.

The person should have a degree in environmental science or biology.

Since housing is part of the benefit package, it would make sense to advertise statewide and even to surrounding states.

There are 100 applications for every one park ranger position. We should widen our net when looking for this position.
