Former Lincolnville resident Lester E. Tajchman, 78, died Friday at Pinnacle Park Care Home in Salina.
Services were Monday at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Lincolnville, with a private burial in Pilsen Cemetery.
He was born Jan. 16, 1937, in Pilsen, the son of John and Elizabeth (Srajer) Tajchman.
He was a truck driver and a farmer.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Sandra (Hammer) Tajchman, and a brother, Laurence.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth (Klein) Tajchman of Lincolnville; children, John Tajchman, of Herington, Glen Tajchman, of Topeka, Dale Tajchman, of Lincolnville, Jerry Tajchman, of Marion, Lisa White, of McPherson, Greg Tajchman, of Bentonville, Arkansas, and Dena Bowman, of Lincolnville; step-children Kim Friedli, of Hope, Steve Klein, of Salina, and Kevin Krch, of Pilsen; and many grandchildren.
A memorial fund has been established for St. John’s Lutheran Church.
