Lake hall, roads

To the editor:

As much as we dislike how our county tax money is spent and squandered, painting of the county lake hall and office looks good and presentable. We can only hope the prep work before painting will keep the new paint stuck for years to come.

With that said, with the current state of our rural farm-to-market roads, I think our new county motto should be “Marion County, the cow path capital of the state.”
