I wish to make two corrections on the article printed in the Sept. 10 issue in regard to the petition presented at the county and city meetings.

First, I did not point my finger at each commissioner at the morning meeting. Secondly, the paragraph saying, “I see prisoners outdoors everyday at the current jail location,” was never said by me at all!

The statement, “I see nothing worse than the situation we have now,” referred to my recent tour of our jail and the pathetic conditions that are currently plaguing them.
