A valley downer

To the editor:

Any city officials who come to my house in Jex Addition in the “valley” — that community on the other side of the tracks that hasn’t seen paved roads in 20 years — and asks me how much money I make in order to secure more funding for the uppity-ups who live on the “hill” will receive a freshly baked strawberry rhubarb pie to the face.
