To The Editor:

Sometimes a headline can be misleading. Two in question: trees and tobacco.

Holdeman doesn’t want all trees cut down. I ask for trees that produce the cotton, which is the female cottonwood tree. They are a bad deal on air conditioners.

About the tobacco and smoking, is to change the smoking ordinance to a no tobacco ordinance in the city building only, not all city property.

I hope this will clear up what some people thought, we should as a council have more important issues, to worry about. May I suggest for the people to come to the Marion City Council meetings and bring in citizen input. Come on speak up!
