Grateful to donor

To the editor:

I am writing to thank the people who recently donated a television to St. Luke Living Center. Their generosity has greatly benefited my elderly grandfather, a resident at the center.

While my grandfather’s vision is not what it used to be, his desire to keep up on current events, sports, and the weather remains constant. The television you donated is larger than the one he had, and has made all the difference in his being able to see the programs he enjoys.

This seemingly simple gesture has allowed my grandfather to share in the world even though he cannot physically go out much anymore.

Thank you again for your generosity. You’ve really helped improve the quality of life for our elderly citizens.
