Raid repercussions

“A Victory Not Just For The Press But For Democracy” (Nov. 12 Record editorial) was published in this morning’s edition of the Seattle Times, complete with photo, in the editorial section.

Congratulations!

Your dedicated perseverance in the face of unrelenting governmental failure to address this obvious crime deserves gratitude from every American.

As a subscriber, I have followed your efforts since their inception and have marveled at your dedication to seeking recognition and justice.

I’m sure this effort has tested your patience and resolve, but the effort is paying off, with national record and implications.

The ongoing allegations against the City of Marion should be bolstered by this victory.

It’s hard to understand the entrenched resistance to honor press freedom and acknowledge the miscarriage of justice. This illegal behavior will not go unresolved!

I take great satisfaction in supporting your efforts and encourage your continued commitment to confirming responsibility for these abuses of power.

Democracy depends on relentless voices like yours.
