Former mayor endorses Mayfield

To the editor:

On Nov. 5, the voters of the city of Marion will have a chance to speak their voice. I urge everyone to do their duty and vote.

In my last term as mayor, I had the opportunity to work with David Mayfield and found him to be knowledgeable and capable.

I believe that with his background and experience he would be a good choice for mayor and that he would work to move Marion forward in a positive and proactive manner. I recommend a vote for David Mayfield for mayor.
