To the Editor,

Just a note of thanks.

A long time ago, when I became a citizen of this country I learned about “Freedom of the Press.”

I do not think I have ever enjoyed that freedom more than this week after reading your “Opinion” in the paper. You have said many things that a lot of us in Marion (and country) have thought. We do not have your education to phrase it just right and legal.

Thank you again. I hope the rest of your “vacation” is a good day with your “Friend Mother and Friend Cat.”
