To the editor:
For Randy Crawford and commissioners to go after farmers large or small is an insult. Who created the environment we live in today? Dare we say government, which sets policy and makes laws and regulations? By creating money out of thin air, government encourages consumption, which necessitates big farms and big feedlots.
Maybe we should stop doing what we are doing and just feed ourselves. Maybe we can’t even do that anymore!
It’s amazing how government has convinced us that it is good and producers are bad. What can government give without taking it away from the producers who feed it?
How is it that 1 percent of the people feed 99 percent of the people and yet that 1 percent is the fault for all that is bad? Try living without food!
