Something we need

To the editor:

As we enter the Christmas season, how do we feel toward one another? Probably many of us would profess to be Christians, but do we speak, write, and act like God’s children? Have we really had that touch from above that changes us, and the way we respect and treat one another on an everyday level?

We read in the Bible, in John 15:12 where it says, “This is my commandment, that ye love one another, as I have loved you.”

We live in a time where there are many differing opinions around us, and if we let them, these differences will divide us instead of unite us.

Let’s take a good look at where this kind of attitude will take us. We need to be reasonable and kind-hearted in all of our doings. There is no better time than right now to begin. Let’s spread the germs of love and respect.
