Lloyd Meier

Services for Lloyd Meier, 77, Marion, who died Saturday at St. Luke Hospital in Marion, will be 3 p.m. Saturday at Zion Lutheran Church, Hillsboro.

Pastor John Werner will officiate. Relatives will receive friends 5 to 7 p.m. Friday the church.

Born June 13, 1946, in Hillsboro to Melvin and Olinda (Winter) Meier, he married Linda Carey on May 5, 1968, at Durham Lutheran Church.

She survives along with sons Jon Meier of rural Hillsboro and James Meier of Benton, daughter Lesa Jost of Spivey, brother Owen Meier of McPherson, 11 grandchildren, and a great-grandchild.

Brothers Weldon and James preceded him in death.

A memorial has been established with the church.
