Services for Lola Mae Savoia, 96, who died Monday at Parkside Homes in Hillsboro, will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Parkview Mennonite Brethren Church.
Burial will be an hour before the service at Zion Lutheran Cemetery. Visitation will be 6 to 8 tonight at Jost Funeral Home.
Born Jan. 1, 1925 in Hillsboro to Alex and Jessie (Miller) Stratman, she was preceded in death by husbands Robert L. Washmon in 1978 and John S Savoia in 2019, by daughter Terrie L. Todd in 2020, and by stepdaughter Deborah Savoia Berman in 2016.
Survivors include sons Robert Kim Washmon of Leadville, Colorado, and Greg Washmon of rural Hillsboro; daughters Cynthia Fleming of Hillsboro and Janis McInthyre of Edmond, Oklahoma; stepsons John Savoia Jr. of Boston and Tim Savoia of Fresno; stepdaughter Ruth Savoia Restrepo of Wimberly, Texas; brothers Bob and Bill Stratman; sister Peggy Hunter; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A memorial has been established with Caring Hands Humane Society.
