Combined they have more than 60 years of experience, but last week Steve Kill, and his wife, Judy, completed their last day with Farm Bureau Financial Services.

Kill has been an agent for more than 40 years and worked at the Marion office since 1985. Judy has worked for the company for 24 years.

In retirement, the couple plan on pursuing farming at their rural home outside Lincolnville, playing golf, fishing, and traveling and attending more of their grandchildren’s sporting events.

“I’m most excited about more leisure time,” Kill said, “and I’m sure we’ll enjoy several school basketball and softball games.”

He said his favorite part of his job was making connections with his customers.

“I’ll miss them,” he said. “I’ve made a lot of friends over the years.”
