Louis Voelker

Services for Louis William Voelker, 85, who died June 11 at his home, were scheduled for 10 a.m. today at St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church in Pilsen. Burial will be in Pilsen cemetery.

A former Florence resident, he was born Jan. 10, 1940, in St. Louis to Robert and Marian Schilling Voelker.

He married Anna Maria Segobiano Nov. 15, 1969, in Littleton, Colorado. She preceded him in death.

Survivors include daughters Christine Parks of Johnstown, Ohio; Deanna Saba of Medina, Ohio; Maria West of Shawnee; and Nancy Heckart of Omaha; sons Martin Voelker of Raymore, Missouri; Nicholas Voelker of Wichita; Dominic Voelker of Hutchinson; and Eric Voelker of Grapevine, Texas; brother Jim Voelker of Grand Junction, Colorado; and 11 grandchildren.

Brothers Robert, John, William, Thomas Sr., and Guy Voelker and sisters Marian Voelker and Teresa Anagnospopulos preceded him in death.

A memorial has been established with Father Kapaun Legacy Fund.
