Main Street crash causes minor injuries

Two vehicles collided Thursday afternoon at Main and Coble street in Marion, sending four people to the hospital

Margaret Stroda, 80, of Ramona, was driving her 1990 Oldsmobile Royale north on Coble Street and was stopped at the intersection. She told Marion Police Officer Robert Soyez that a passenger had blocked her view of the street. When heading northbound on Coble, the vehicle collided with a flatbed truck, driven by Chuck McLinden, 45, of rural Marion.

Stroda and her passengers —Robert Janow, 57, of Ramona, and Wendi Ruboyianes, no age provided, of Ramona — were taken to St. Luke Hospital with minor injuries. Taler Ruboyianes, 2, of Ramona was in a child seat and was not injured.

McLinden was also not injured.

All of the occupants were wearing seat belts.
