Margaret May

Margaret May, 93, died Feb. 18 in Hillsboro.

She was born March 31, 1920, in Emporia to Joseph Corey and Dora Van Gorden. She married Lawrence May on Aug. 14, 1938, in Emporia.

She is survived by two sons, Corey Raymond May of Hillsboro and Larry May of Landing, N.J; four daughters, Judith May of Marion, Janet Isham and Jody May of Hillsboro, and Susan Magee of Walnutport, PA; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband.

A celebration of life service was Friday at Holy Transfiguration Orthodox Christian Church in Hillsboro. Interment was in Elmdale Cemetery.

A memorial fund has been established with the church.
