The Marion Warriors third and fourth grade flag football team played its first game Sunday against Canton-Galva at Hillsboro.

Janson Garman led the Warrior attack with one touchdown and one interception.

Corbin Wheeler scored two touchdowns, and Evan Calhoun had an interception.

Coach Mike Calhoun said the defense made great plays overall.

Mike Vondenkamp also coaches the team.

The Warriors play all their games during the season at Hillsboro.
