Kids in Marion have two options for getting candy over the Halloween weekend.
Truck or Treat will take place from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday in Central Park at part of a fundraiser for the Marion Elementary School playground. Brody Caster Band will then perform a free show from 7 to 9 p.m.
Marion Advancement Campaign will be selling hamburgers and other items to raise money to put a roof on the new park stage.
Cost to enter decorated vehicles to hand out candy from is $10. Winner of best decorated vehicle will receive a brick for the playground.
Marion businesses will also be handing out treats from 4 to 5 p.m. Monday for a Trick or Treat Main St. event.
