Marion museum offers reading, crafts program

Marion Historical Museum is offering a reading and crafts program for kids Tuesdays and Thursdays in July.

The first program will start July 11.

Tuesday programs will meet from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. and be for children ages 5 to 8. That group will listen to “If You Were a Kid During the Civil War” by Wil Mara.

Thursday programs will meet at the same time and be for children ages 9 to 11. That group will listen to “Flashback Four: The Lincoln Project” by Dan Gutman.

Parents and guardians are invited to attend the free event.
