Offense reports

The following incident reports were reported last week by Marion Police Department.

Theft of a charge card

Paul L. Thomas, 222 N. Cedar St., Marion, reported someone used his MasterCard at 8 a.m. July 16 to make a $34 purchase at a local retail store.

Break-in and theft

Numerous items were taken from a locked shed at 6:52 a.m. July 24, owned by Marion Assisted Living, 200 N. Eisenhower Drive, Marion, when someone broke a lock. Among the items taken were two Stihl weed trimmers, two Coleman air compressors, two Coleman generators, two Troy-Bilt leaf blowers, John Deere ramps, and 5-gallon and 2-gallon metal gas can. The total loss was valued at $2,290.

Theft of an iPod

Mark B. Kukuk, 202 S. Cedar St., Marion, reported the theft of an Apple iPod Touch, valued at $240, from his residence July 30

Battery

An argument occurred at 9 p.m. Aug 4, at 226 S. Freeborn St., Marion, resulting in one person being injured and the other fleeing the scene.
