April 23: Officers responded to a house fire and a burglary in progress, conducted VIN inspections and traffic stops, attended court hearings, and investigated a DUI resulting in an arrest.
April 24: Officers worked on reports, checked a parking complaint, patrolled school zones, walked through Marion High School, checked a door-to-door salesman, conducted traffic stops, and investigated a criminal trespass complaint.
April 25: Officers conducted firearms training and traffic stops, assisted EMS with a call, provided PBT testing at MHS Prom, and responded to a domestic dispute resulting in an arrest.
April 26: Officers checked a parking complaint, conducted traffic stops and weather patrol, worked on reports, checked a stranded motorist, and responded to an activated business alarm.
April 27: Officers work on reports, checked a suspicious person, and conducted VIN inspections and follow-up investigations.
April 28: Officers patrolled school zones, conducted VIN inspections and a welfare check, took a criminal damage report, a battery report, and a theft report, and investigated an underage drinker.
April 29: Officers patrolled school zones, worked on reports, conducted a welfare check, follow-up investigations, and traffic stops, attended court hearings, met with a concerned citizen, and took possession of found property and returned it to the owner and took a report of harassment.
April 30: Officers patrolled school zones, assisted a MHS freshman class with a fund-raiser, served a civil process, conducted traffic stops and VIN inspections, worked on reports and a non-injury accident, checked streetlights, and responded to a domestic dispute.
May 1: Officers patrolled school zones, served a civil process, conducted vehicle maintenance and traffic stops, and worked on reports.
May 2: Officers checked a parking complaint, met with a concerned citizen regarding traffic, provided supervision for community service workers, conducted follow-up investigations, worked on reports, and checked a possible criminal damage to property.
Officers issued 13 warnings and made four arrests.
