Officers worked on reports; conducted vehicle maintenance, traffic stops, follow-up investigations, and vehicle identification number inspections; and worked on reports.

July 24: Officers assisted Marion County Sheriff’s deputies with a call.

July 25: A parking complaint was checked. Officers assisted with a cow out. Theft reports were taken. A non-injury accident was a reported and stolen property was recovered.

July 26: Stolen property was recovered and returned to the owner. Officers responded to a non-injury accident.

July 27: Officers attended court hearings, assisted with a parade, responded to a broken down vehicle in a roadway, and checked a suspicious vehicle complaint. Sheriff’s deputies were given assistance with an intoxicated individual.

July 28: Officers met with a concerned citizen and checked on a report of a suspicious vehicle.

July 29: A parking complaint was checked. Officers met with an attorney regarding cases and responded to an injury accident. A dog complaint was checked. Officers met with a concerned citizen regarding a custody dispute. Sheriff’s deputies were assisted with a fight.

July 30: Officers met with a concerned citizen regarding purchased property, checked on a parking complaint, and responded to an alarm.

July 31: A dead animal complaint was checked. Officers conducted a civil standby, assisted a motorist with directions, and took a report of harassment.

Aug. 1: Officers responded to a non-injury accident, assisted a stranded motorist and responded to a domestic dispute. Sheriff’s deputies were assisted with horse on the roadway.

Aug. 2: Officers assisted with cows out on the highway and assisted SRS with a call. A junk vehicle was reported and officers responded to a non-injury accident.

Aug. 3: Stolen property was recovered. Officers met with a concerned parent and responded to a civil dispute.

Thursday: Officers met with a concerned citizen regarding a civil matter, took a theft report, responded to a non-injury accident, and conducted a civil standby.

Friday: A funeral escort was provided. Radar was run on Main Street. Officers responded to a 911 disconnect, took a report of criminal damage to property, and checked on a complaint of reckless driving.

Saturday: Officers assisted a lost motorist with directions

Officers issued 12 warnings.
