Marion Senior Center had an awesome program May 30. Steve Vincent of Hillsboro displayed his piano showmanship, playing selections from “The Sound of Music.”

The craft corner was busy one morning when a man stopped to buy a baby quilt and set of embroidered tea towels. The quilters put in a new quilt this week to custom quilt for a local woman.

Shirley Bowers brought in some calendulas to share.

There will be a program after lunch June 13.

The center is organizing a trip to see “A Chorus Line” on June 21 at the Crown Uptown Theatre in Wichita. Call (620) 382-2942 to reserve a spot on the trip.
