Marion Senior Center has a new batch of tea towels stamped with designs by Mary Hett, ready to embroider for the craft corner.

The center’s head cook, Kathy West, was in Salina on Aug. 30 along with other area cooks to learn how to order our food supplies on the computer.

The center still has a few seats on the van driving to the Crown Uptown on Sept. 20 to see “Sweeney Todd.”

Flu shots will be offered at the center at 12:30 p.m. Oct. 5. The shots will be administered by Marion County Health Department.

Karen Williams gave a program on exercises on Sept. 5. She teaches classes at Butler Community College of Marion and is a personal trainer. Margaret Wilson shared tips on proper deep breathing.

Senior Center Day is Sept. 19, and there will be a program presented by Gayla Ratzlaff on hoarding after lunch.
